Men: Live Well, Work Well

A small-group compassionate coaching forum · By invitation

Lou Booth founder of elementas coaching

Lou Booth, founder of elementas, invites you into a grounded and supportive small-group space to pause, reflect and talk honestly about life, work and wellbeing.

About this space

This forum is offered by invitation to men Lou has worked with – in a trusted space for honest conversation, practical tools and genuine connection, away from the demands of everyday life and work. It may be especially valuable for men running their own business, leaders, managers and professionals who would welcome confidential support alongside others who understand the pressures they carry.

Together, we create space to reconnect with what matters – and explore how to practically and courageously care for ourselves, while continuing to show up for the people, work and responsibilities we care about.

There is also something that grows with time. Returning each month to the same trusted space and the same familiar group of men builds a quiet accountability – the kind that supports real change rather than just good intentions.

First session: Wednesday 18 June 2026, 6.00 – 7.15pm  or Thursday 18 June 2026, 6.00 – 7.15pm (confirm your preferred day)

The groups are small and places are offered by invitation. If you have received an invitation and would like to find out more or confirm your place, Lou would love to hear from you  Call or WhatsApp 07715814833

This Live Well Work Well forum launches during Men’s Health Week, 15–21 June 2026 – a moment set aside each year to encourage men to pay attention to their health and wellbeing. Whether or not you are a father, this week is a reminder that the men in our lives matter. You matter. It feels like the right time to begin.

Themes we explore

Using peer support, guided reflection and compassionate coaching tools, we explore the pressures men often carry, and how to respond with more clarity, calm and self-awareness. We will focus on how to communicate and support others through compassionate listening, presence and awareness.

Work pressure & leadership · Family & relationships · Stress & staying well · Responsibility & purpose · Anxiety & calm · Self-care that actually works. Take a look at the statistics below and choose to make a difference to your life and the lives of others.

Keeping Connected Keeping Well

The statistics are why I am passionate about supporting men. My area of specialism is bringing my mindfulness and compassion learning to a work setting; keeping it real and practical! Remember sometimes having those tricky conversations means we face what we need to thrive and flourish.

One man in five dies before the age of 65

More than 2 in 5 men die before the age of 75

2/3 of premature deaths from Cardiovascular Disease are amongst Men

Men have a 37% higher risk of dying from cancer and a 67% higher chance of dying from cancers that affect both men and women

Four in five suicides are by men – suicide is the biggest cause of death for men under 35 and there has been a sharp increase in the rate among men aged 35- 64  (Source MP’s UK Men’s Health Inquiry 2023)

Men’s Health Forum

What each session offers

  • Guided reflection using mindful compassion techniques to soften anxiety and bring clarity
  • Honest, shared conversations in a confidential and non-judgemental space
  • A practical takeaway to support your everyday wellbeing, self-care and healthier responses to stress
  • A whole-person approach – mental, emotional and physical supporting calm, confidence and clarity
  • A sense of continuity and gentle accountability by returning monthly to a trusted group of men who notice, encourage and keep you honest with yourself.

Why showing up matters

One of the quiet gifts of this forum is continuity. Coming back each month – to the same men, the same space – builds something that a single session never can. You begin to notice patterns in yourself. Others begin to notice them too, and reflect them back with honesty and care.

That gentle accountability – knowing the group is there, that your presence matters, that someone will ask how last month’s intention landed – is often what makes the difference between insight and actual change. This is not about pressure. It is about having somewhere to return to.

A note on what this is

This is a coaching-based space using mindful compassion techniques, which can feel therapeutic. It offers shared connection and space to bring more calm and clarity. However, this is not therapy or crisis support. Where helpful, you will be encouraged to access appropriate health, wellbeing or professional support.

Your contribution

Your time is your first contribution, showing up for yourself matters.

This forum is offered on a sliding scale of £35–£65 per session. The range exists because men arrive here at different points in life ; some thriving, some navigating difficulty. Choose the amount that honestly feels right for where you are right now. Whatever you choose, your place and your experience are equally valued. No explanation needed.

£35 – £65 per session · monthly

This space is offered in the spirit of giving back. The sliding scale contribution helps sustain what goes into making each session possible – Lou’s time, preparation and the care brought to every session. It is a fair and mutual exchange, offered in the same spirit as the forum itself – with trust, care and respect.
