Your session will be facilitated by a professional coach, business mentor, artist and wellness practitioner. We will works with the four dimensions of wellness (mind, body, spirt and emotions) to highten your awareness. You will be shown ways to bring space to your (body, mind, emotions, spirit ) to tap into your inner energy and hidden potential with simple Tai Chi and Chi Kung moves. The evening will include relaxing, creative techniques including meditation and mindfulness and ancient hand mudras.

All designed to help you unlock your hidden thoughts ideas and aspirations and set your intention and flow.

Lou successfully uses Vision Boards to achieve her own on goals and ambitions- from her passion of travelling the world, to designing her home space, as well as creating her dream car and setting up a business and achieving personal wellness. This new series of monthly workshops will share Lou’s tried and tested ideas and techniques with others.

No prior experience, artistic skills or experience necessary. Join a lovely bunch of people an amazing evening. Your fee includes all artist materials and healthy light refreshments.

The workshop will take place in a special, beautiful and energetic space created to help you relax, unfold and flourish.

Time to Think?

Do you ever give yourself enough time to stop and think? To reset your inner compass?

Life gets busy with work, family, friends and hobbies. Before we know it another year has gone. We may feel we are never going to do what we have dreamed about, that new project, new hobby or idea.

Coaching can help us focus. It can give use chance to articulate and make plans, sounding out our ideas. Coaching offers space to think about our intentions (what) and our motivations (why). Coaching conversations can help us become more mindful, more present and more aware of what is really important in the here and now.

And as they say in Tibet, ‘If you take care of the minutes, the years will take care of themselves.’

Wellness Messages- It’s All About You!

I was asked to speak on radio today about the subject I am ever so passionate about – Wellness.

The “It’s All About You” interview at RibbleFM went well thanks to Kath Lord-Green Founder and presenter who helped me relax. Kath does an amazing job.

Alongside I decided to run a small survey and ask Facebook friends and friends of friends what was important to them in their own wellness.

I’m keeping the survey going this week as we are getting great results.

Setting Your Direction of Travel

Do you know where you are heading?  If not it may be time to stop, get your bearings and reset your inner compass.

Deciding where you want to be can sometimes be a little tricky! Especially if it feels like you are in the middle of a constant storm.

Taking time and space to assess your personal situation can make a big difference to your life. In giving yourself space in your schedule, you have chance to reflect upon your circumstances. Time to consider, your goals and to explore your current perceptions and reality versus your potential future.

And then, once you are more aware, more conscious, you will be better equipped to decide, what is your best way forward to your chosen destination? That may sound exciting, or scary. Magical Postcards from Vienna

Did you know that the first Postcard was established in the Austria – Hungarian monarchy in 1869?

Today in Vienna, I learnt this new fact.

In the days before the instantaneous, digital delights of Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram etc. Postcards enabled and encouraged people to send images across the world, creating connections.

In the spirit of delayed gratification, I believe Postcards still have a place today. I like to send them to friends, family and acquaintances to remind them that someone is thinking of them across the miles.

Postcards can connect people with new places and ideas. I have sent postcards from places like Bolivia, Africa, Mongolia- places people I know would never visit. They can remind others we are thinking of them, sharing positivity in our happy moments. Sometimes the postcard receiver may be feeling lonely, sad or isolated. Hopefully Postcards share delight bringing some light to their day.

Postcards are slower and take a little effort. We may have to rack our minds to remember the address or postcode! We will spend time choosing the appropriate design, buying the card and finding international stamps! Then comes thinking of the best words to write (in the small space), connecting our thoughts to the card through the art of the pen.

Finally finding a postbox can sometimes be a challenge! Then we trust and hope the postcard gets to its destination! Eventually!

When a handwritten Postcard glimmers on the post pile (amidst the junk mail and hum drum of bills and domestic administrative chores! ), I hope you agree a little magic is brought to the day!

This Game of Wellness!

The 4 dimensions of wellness include Mental, Physical, Emotional and Spiritual.

Here I am arriving in Vienna for a few days. Post to a weeks practical Wellness training near Olomouc in the Czech Republic (with colleagues from all over Europe).

The trainers were a doctor, a wellness practitioner and a gaming expert. We used experiential learning techniques to gain more insights into and richer understanding of wellness. I was able to benefit from learning across cultures and from the expertise of fellow practitioners, old and new friends.

An amazing experience. Lots to share!
